Kenyatta is an artist and poet from Hampton Roads Virginia. She began journaling at an early age and developed a passion for various forms of self expression. As a mother and wife Kenyatta prides herself in family and finds inspiration in her journey as a woman. In 2015 Kenyatta published her first body of works entitled Earth's Words, which is a collection of  self reflective poems and inspirational messages she wrote while at the side of her ailing mother. Using her love for painting and writing as a creative outlet, Kenyatta takes her strength gained from suffering and loss as a means to instill hope and courage into her readers.
